Front steps were sinking at this home in Vineyard. Our crews installed a helical pier on each side of the stairs to lift and stabilize. Poly was then injected into the void beneath the stairs for added support. A new top step was then re-poured to complete the job.

Job Stories From Utah County, UT
Large Sinkhole Under Walkway in Santaquin, Utah

The slabs of concrete leading to Adam C.s home had a giant sinkhole underneath. Water would run under the slabs and into the basement. Davenport Foundation Repair was able to come out and give a free estimate and some cost-effective solutions.

Our crew pumped 56 pounds of our innovative PolyLevel injection foam under his 12-foot-long walkway. In the past, mud jacking was the best way to fix sinking concrete stairs, driveways, sidewalks, etc. However, mud jacking didn't completely solve the problem. PolyLevel cures in 15 minutes and only requires a dime-sized hole to be drilled into the concrete to inject the foam. Learn more about why PolyLevel® is the better solution here.

Now Adam can enjoy a dry basement and a level walkway to home. We are pleased when our customers send us a review to let us know how we did. “The crew was great, and really knew what they were doing,” Adam said. Davenport Foundation Repair is pleased we provide Adam with permanent, cost-effective solutions in Santaquin, Utah.

Push Piers and Poly American Fork, Utah

Don J. called us because he noticed several cracks in the foundation of his garage, a large horizontal crack in the concrete under the brick of the home, and stair step cracks in the brick of the home. A Davenport Foundation Repair Foundation Specialist was able to determine the home had settled, and we installed 10 Push Piers around the garage. When soils are unable to bear the load of the structure on top of it, that structure will sink downwards into the ground. Piers can solve settlement problems by transferring a structure's weight to strong, competent supporting soils at greater depth. Piers can effectively stabilize a settling structure and can even provide jacking points to lift the structure upwards to its original, level position. The piers at this location went into the ground 70-73 feet into the soils below.

In addition to piering the home, we were able to level and stabilize their front walkway with our innovative PolyLevel foam. This home’s walkway was sunk several inches causing tripping hazards. In the past, mud jacking was the best way to fix sinking concrete stairs, driveways, sidewalks, etc. However, mud jacking didn't completely solve the problem, which is why Davenport Foundation Repair uses PolyLevel® to fix this issue. It cures in 15 minutes, making the driveway or sidewalk usable quickly; it’s lightweight at 2 pounds per cubic foot; and the holes required to pump the foam into the concrete are the size of a dime, making them nearly unnoticeable upon the repair’s completion.

Don was another happy Davenport customer and told us, “[Foundation Specialist] Dave Kerlin was very personable, extremely knowledgeable and helpful when conducting a detailed site visit. He provided me the opportunity to visit a home where a crew was in process of lifting a large porch foundation several inches. Watching this process helped alleviate any fears and concerns with the lifting/pier process. Dave came to our home after the lifting process was completed to ensure our complete satisfaction.”

Pleasant Grove concrete level

When our crew looked at this sidewalk in Pleasant Grove that was needing lifting they chose to use slab jack to help bring the sidewalk up to where it needed to be and then inject the poly to fill in the void. The slab jack gave them the additional help they needed to make sure they achieved the desired results for our customer.

Driveway Crack Repair in Lehi, UT.

Gail found us through an internet search for contractors that can repair a large crack in her driveway. Davenport Foundation Repair takes pride in the workmanship we do as well as our products and approach to fix the problem right.

Our team repaired a 12' crack in the driveway with our NexusPro and then sealed the joints and the driveway surface to protect the concrete from the elements.

Nathan was looking online for a solution to keep the basement of his brand-new home dry and usable when he came across Davenport Foundation Repair. Nathan gave us a call to set up a free onsite estimate to discuss his options. We sent out one of our top system design specialists Jesi to take a look and provide a quote.

Once the decision was made to proceed, our expert team got to work trenching out along the perimeter of the basement to install the WaterGuard drainage system that channels any water that might infiltrate his basement into the SuperSump that we installed as well. The sump will pump out through discharge lines and carry the water away from his foundation.

I have concrete that is about a year old for a new home. There is pitting on the front steps and I am concerned these will get larger. Wondering about pricing to fix this as well as to seal the steps and driveway.

Hi, I have a new home in cedar fort. just over a year old. We had water come into our basement and noticed a crack in our foundation. We have dug all the dirt away from the outside of the house where it is located. We are interested in an estimate to have it repaired and waterproofed. Thanks
