Foundation Stabilization & Basement Waterproofing with 9 Push Piers in Clearfield, Utah
Challenge
A homeowner in Clearfield, Utah began noticing signs of foundation settlement and exterior cracking along the foundation wall. Interior inspection revealed structural movement requiring stabilization beneath the footing.
Further evaluation showed that the home had experienced settlement significant enough to require deep foundation support. The soil conditions required additional pier depth to reach stable load-bearing strata. In addition to structural movement, the basement also required waterproofing protection to address moisture concerns along the perimeter.
The combination of structural settlement, exterior cracking, and basement moisture made this a comprehensive foundation repair and basement restoration project.
Solution
To permanently stabilize the structure, our team installed 9 push piers beneath the affected foundation wall. Due to soil conditions in the Clearfield area, additional pier depth was required for each pier to reach competent load-bearing soil. Once proper depth and resistance were achieved, the home was carefully stabilized.
After structural stabilization, we completed necessary concrete repair and restored excavated interior slab sections.
To address moisture concerns, we installed a perimeter basement waterproofing system designed to help manage water intrusion and protect the foundation long-term. The slab was restored and the basement returned to serviceable condition.
The result is a stabilized foundation system with reinforced structural support and improved moisture protection — giving the homeowner confidence in the long-term integrity of their property.
