Why WellDuct may Be Your Basement's Best Solution

WellDuct

Spring is on its way! Though the winter has been mild, we expect several spring showers to bring the much needed water to our desert climate. Sometimes that water finds its way into our home’s basements and crawlspaces. Leaky basements are never a good situation, and can affect the value of a home if not properly repaired by trained professionals.

Water can come through cracks in the walls, improperly sealed windows or through window wells. When a basement window well does not have sufficient draining, is improperly graded or becomes clogged with debris, water can seep into the basement walls. Creating a drain out of the window well gives homeowners the best chance of avoiding issues caused by leaky window wells.

If you're not interested in replacing your basement windows and/or window wells, Davenport Foundation Repair has a solution called WellDuct. Our WellDuct Window Well Drain product establishes a drain from the window well to a drain on the inside the wall like our WaterGaurd system. The process including drilling a hole under the window, in the foundation wall and installing a strainer on the exterior of the foundation. The WellDuct is a vertical piece of ducting that is attached and sealed to the interior foundation wall from a perimeter drainage system to the window well. WellDuct is then connected to the drain system, such as our WaterGaurd system, where water can drain to the sump pump.

At Davenport Foundation Repair we have a variety of waterproofing products to make your basement safe and dry. We offer a lifetime written warranty on many products. This warranty is transferable to a new owner, should you decide to sell the home. We have a well-trained, professional waterproofing crew that have many years of experience repairing wet basements and crawlspaces. We also offer Free Estimates to homeowners. We have a permanent, cost-effective solution to fix your leaky basement or crawlspace, so call today, 1-801-569-2302.
