Sunken Slab Leads to Water in Grantsville, UT Basement

Jeff H. had water leaking into his home’s basement due to an outside cement slab that had cracked and sunk up to six inches in some areas. There was also a large void under the back patio and by the garage door which caused the cement slab to become unstable and sink.

Davenport Foundation Repair was able to offer a cost-effective, permanent solution with PolyLevel injection foam. 241 pounds of PolyLevel was pumped underneath the cement slabs, filling the void and closing the entry points for the water that was coming into the basement.

Settling Foundation Problem in Tooele

Alan met us at a Home Show in 2019 and reached out to us some months later to address a big problem with his foundation. It was beginning to settle on one side of his home. Over time when soils are unable to bear the load of a structure, it can begin to sink and settle. After sending one of our specialists to inspect his foundation we set a date to begin the repair project. We first had to excavate and then added several Push Piers for the lift procedure.
