Settlement from Utah’s freeze–thaw cycles, gutter runoff, and soil washout caused the slab to drop and redirect water toward the garage. Our crew used polyurethane foam injection (PolyLevel®) to lift the concrete back to the correct grade, stabilize the base soils, and restore proper drainage. After the lift, we sealed the joints to help keep water out and protect the repair.

We installed 14 push piers at this structure in Midvale, Utah. There was a severe separation between some of the walls around the structure. The wall and roofline also had a separation. Our crew worked three days pushing piers up to 20 feet into the soils below to achieve stability.

Our crew excavated the foundation footer and partially removed it to install the pier in the proper position. Once the piers were in place, the building was lifted back to stability and gaps in the brick of the stair step cracks closed.
