This walkway was sinking and was lifted back into place using polylevel
This walkway in Provo Utah, was lacking in stability due to soil erosion under the concrete pad. We used Polylevel injections to fill the voids and stabilize the path.
This before-and-after photo set highlights a concrete corner repair completed at a home in Provo, Utah, where settlement had caused separation between the concrete slab and the foundation corner. Over time, soil movement allowed the slab to sink, creating gaps that could allow water intrusion, further erosion, and long-term foundation concerns.
To address the issue, our team used PolyLevel® concrete lifting to stabilize and raise the settled concrete back toward its proper position. Once the slab was corrected, NexusPro® joint sealant was applied along the concrete-to-foundation joint to seal the gap, protect against moisture intrusion, and allow for natural expansion and contraction.
This repair not only improves the appearance of the concrete but also helps protect the foundation and surrounding soil from future damage. It’s a great example of how targeted concrete leveling and joint sealing can extend the life of flatwork and prevent more costly structural repairs in Utah’s shifting soil conditions.
